My students have thoroughly enjoyed our tablets as a part of our technology center. Students are eager to try new academic skills each day because of our technology. Students are progressing rapidly through learning apps wit much joy and excitement. For many of my students our tablets in class are their main source of technology that they are able to experience for 8+ hours a day. My students are at
the ripe age where technology is becoming a big thrill for them and the possibilities are endless! They enjoy finding their name in the ABC Mouse app and getting to work diligently maneuvering through various skill levels.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and 2 other donors.

These materials will be greatly appreciated in helping my students advance their critical thinking in math, literacy, and independence within the classroom setting. Students will utilize the tablets and headphones during our morning arrival and centers/ independent work time. They will have access to many educational games, videos, books, etc to expand their thinking and learning. This will help create more opportunities for students independent learning and growth in the classroom, as they will be occupying these materials mainly during centers play which is mostly student choice and student led.
