Seat Sack Sanity
Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for helping us purchase seat sacks for our classroom. They are so essential to our classroom functionality. The students are putting them to great use and are filling them with their needed supplies. The seat sacks help to build personal responsibility and organization as they grow into independent learners. It also helps us use our time more efficiently as we are hopping from subject to subject and don't have to worry about our needed supplies being too far out of reach.
Thank you so much for your generosity!”

Funded Jan 31, 2024This was such a fun and educational project that put so many smiles on so many faces especially mine! The students loved learning about the cultures that help make up Lunar New Year and put that knowledge into action by actively partaking in customs from those different cultures. Our community grew more understanding and members of our community that celebrate Lunar New Year became more eager to share about themselves. Activities like this help put sparkle into the classroom which would not be possible without wonderful donors like you! You are amazing!”

Funded Nov 9, 2023There is always something exciting about learning something new and finding a way to create a more efficient classroom environment! The Cricut that was so generously purchased for our classroom is piece of equipment with so much potential and will be used so much throughout the years.
Being able to implement all the ideas and plans that we have for the Cricut has been a learning curve, but with each attempt our mistakes lead to lessons and we see more of the potential that this machine can add to our classroom. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity!”

Funded Sep 28, 2022The Scholastic News Magazines are so useful and have greatly impacted the seven first grade classrooms that they were purchased for! The students love to be able to have these tangibles items that they can hold while we read together and learn about a variety of different topics, that they can write in and make their own, and that they can carry along with them to share with those at home. As soon as the students see the stacks of magazines being passed out, they are engaged and excited to see what this one will be about. They can't help themselves from opening them up and whispering amongst themselves! Thanks for giving that opportunity to them!”

Let’s Learn Our Sounds Effectively
Funded Sep 13, 2021Thank you so much for helping to obtain this resource for our classroom. The importance of Phonemic Awareness has been pushed to the forefront lately, which helps to make resources like this pack widely available. It helps us keep the students even more engaged with fun images.
My students love to sing, so the use of songs and fairly familiar tunes get my students eager to participate. These techniques also help engage different parts of the brain to help build their working memory and focus stamina. We appreciate your generosity!”

Hands-On with Safety in Mind
Funded Dec 22, 2020My classroom is filled with 23 eager learners that have taken all the covid safety protocols and various routine disruptions in stride without allowing covid to limit their opportunity to learn and grow. I am so thankful to those that have helped supply my students with things that made all these transitions easier, our space safer, and our learning still fun and meaningful. With the seat sacks in place, we were able to keep our supplies within reach and easily pack it all up when we had to switch to remote learning. The students were excited to be the owner and caretaker of their own supply collector. They were also excited to have the ability to use supplies that could keep learning engaging and hands on. These things might seem small, but they truly helped. They allowed us to shift our focus to the things that brought us joy and created moments that were worth remembering in spite of learning differently during a pandemic. Thank you so much for giving to our classroom! The world is a better place because of kind hearted people like you!”
