Scholastic News is a developmentally-appropriate tool designed to introduce and reinforce core, early-learning concepts. Each week students will be able to read about the world while meeting important state standards. Many of my students do not have access to books or other reading materials at their homes. Students will be able to use these wonderful resources in the classroom and then be able to keep them forever and share with their families! In previous years, I have sent extra magazines home for summer reading. This has helped to prevent students from experiencing the "summer slide." Your donation will make it possible for my students to learn more about the world in which they live! With your help, my students will have access to a vast amount of age-appropriate news.
