The Vex IQ Robots will utilized during the weekly Robotics Team meetings. The students will use the kits to design a competition device. This building requires them to follow the building schematics. After building the initial robots, the students will modify the designs while working on their driving skills for this years Ringmaster competition. The modifications allow them to explore changing variables and accounting for the variations. Upon completion, the students will take part in competitions throughout the state. The robotics team allows students to see the opportunities of science and engineering for future careers that go beyond their scope of daily living. This club allows students who struggle with reading, find the value of learning through hands-on engineering.
