Our school's Dungeons and Dragons club have been attempting to 3D print mini figures using an FDM (traditional) 3d printer. They are unable to achieve the detail required for these intricate models. They discovered that an SLA resin printer would be much better suited to creating detailed models. This entry level SLA printer and materials will give them a great introduction to a new type of 3d printing. These skills will help them to bring their creative visions to life, as well as give them technical skills that could be useful in many STEM fields. This printer will also be used by our school's robotics team to print more intricate parts for their robots.
