  • Ink for Our Classroom Printer

    Funded Oct 31, 2024

Thank you for supporting my class. Having the support of donors like you mean the world to all teachers and students. Being able to have ink for our classroom printer helps us so much. We are able to print out hard copies of homework, projects, behavior charts, etc. If we are short copies for classwork, I am able to print out a few copies in the classroom. I noticed that some children like seeing it come out of the printer.

Printer ink is so essential to have for our printer and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Thank you very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Materials To Start The 2024-2025 School Year

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations. The students were excited to open the box with the carpet spots. Our old ones were not in the best condition so getting new ones was very exciting to them. We use the carpet spots when we do phonemic awareness, reading in our CKLA readers, and sometimes math time. The carpet spots are so useful because we use them when needed. Having them instead of a large rug is also cleaner.

Being able to have a TPT gift card makes it exciting for the children because we were able to use it for more CKLA reading resources, projects, etc. Getting additional resources provides extra support for the new reading program.

Thank you again to The Gates Foundation and our donors. Without your support, we would not be able to get oour materials. Thank you again.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Engaging Projects & Ink Go A Long Way With Us

    Funded Feb 17, 2024

Thank you to our donors who helped make our class wish come true. By using the Teacher Pay Teacher gift card and ink in our classroom, we have been able to do fun and educational lessons. Our theme for March and April was Spring is in the Air! We were able to find lessons on spring, writing, STEAM, and math that related to spring. The students loved them. I also was able to find CKLA (our new reading program for the next school year) skills and knowledge supplemental worksheets. This will help me slowly introduce my class to the new program during review weeks. Thank you again for the constant support of my class.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Let's Keep Organized

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you for your support and donations to our whiteboard organizers and computer ink project. We love our whiteboard organizers because it holds the boards, markers, and erasers. It is easy for the children to put the boards back and it fits perfectly on a table. It is not so big and bulky. It is just right. As for the computer ink, it came just in time. We use the printer when we are short on copies. It is so convenient to have a class printer in the classroom and having the printer ink helps us.

Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Backpack Storage Needed

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your support and donations. We love our backpack storage cart! It holds all of our backpacks and we are able to roll it out to the front of our classroom. The backpacks are no longer falling off of the chairs and onto the floor. It is so much cleaner and organized in the classroom without the backpacks. The cart is also sturdy which makes it great for future use. The children are able to reach the backpack cart because it is at their eye level. Other teachers like the cart and plan to look into it for their class.

Thank you again for your kindness!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Fun Projects Make Learning Enjoyable!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you for your donations to our project. We are always grateful to you and your family. Having the Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards helped us have fun projects and activities before the school year ended. It will also help us with the new school year too. The children love the STEAM, social studies, art, and monthly home projects. They especially love the monthly home projects because they are fun and they get to work on the projects with their families. We will be able to use the remaining balance of the gift cards on the new school year. Thank you again for always supporting us!”

  • Gardening is Beautiful

    Funded Jan 19, 2023

What a joy it has been with our new garden bed! When I explained what it was and what we were going to do with it, they were so excited. Some children have helped their families in the gardens at home and others have never had a garden at home. We have planted tomatoes plants in our garden. Each day different children are in charge of watering the plants. They love being able to water the plants and see them grow.

As for the planting theme box, we have used some of the materials to plant seeds. The children can not wait to see the seeds sprout. Having our own garden bed in back of our classroom is a fun and educational spring project!

Thank you again for all of your donations.”

    Mrs. Adams

  • Engaging Activities And Ink Needed

    Funded Nov 24, 2022

Thank you very much for your donations. We are so grateful and blessed for your kindness and support. We have been able to have fun activities during Christmas and New Year's. During the month of January, we had a winter theme in our classroom. We have attached some photos of our class work. You can see what we have bought from the Teachers Pay Teachers website.

We have bought other resources for the 100th day of school and Valentine's Day. We are so excited to do the activities in February.

We have used the ink in our printer too. Sometimes we have to print out our activities if our copier is down in the office. The printer ink comes in handy.

Thank you again for your donations and thoughtfulness.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Backpack Storage Needed

    Funded Sep 8, 2022

We want to thank you very much for your donations. We were unable to get the backpack storage but we ended up getting a flexible seating table and 3 flexible seating chairs. The table is very sturdy and low to the ground. The chairs are low to the ground too so that the children are more relaxed as they work.

The children were very excited when they saw the boxes in the classroom . They asked what was in the boxes and I told them what it was. They had huge smiles on their faces. Since there are only 3 flexible seating chairs and one table, they will be using it during independent working time. They can't wait to sit at the "Special Table."

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

  • Writing Is a Blast!

    Funded Aug 10, 2022

We want to thank you for your donations towards our writing journals. The children love their special journals. They like how there is enough space for writing and room to draw their pictures. They also like how the front cover is colorful. The writing journals are sturdy and made well so when the children put them in their desks, it does not fall apart or get destroyed like other journals we had in the past. With your kindness and generosity, the children have a place to learn how to write and illustrate their writing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Adams

Teaching physical education will keep the children focused and instill life long health goals. They will be able to learn proper locomotive skills such as jumping, throwing, etc. All of the equipment such as the balls, bean bags, jump ropes, hula hoops, etc will be used with the physical education standards in mind. Having the child sized equipment storage will be used during their recess/lunch time so they can easily have access to the equipment. Once I teach the children a specific p.e. Skill, I will put out the equipment and they can practice it. They will also get to choose which physical activity they want to play with their classmates. Being active is very important because they will use it their entire lives.
