My students will use the tablets throughout the school day. They will be able to use them during class lesson/activities to access the internet and videos to help them learn about the topic being taught. Tablets are engaging and motivating. For my students who cannot read, they can have stories read to them (audio books). The headphones will allow for students to be able to hear the videos and stories without disrupting other students. The tablets will also be used as an intensive throughout the day for completing work. My students use a First/Then Board to help them stay on task/complete a task (First matching letter game, then tablet). For some of my students, the use of the tablet at the end of the day to listen to music or play a game is a motivating factor for them to follow directions and do their work throughout the day.
