  • Reading Centers for Success!

    Funded Jan 26, 2023

These materials have greatly impacted our daily centers rotations for both Reading and for Math. My students were so excited when the boxes arrived to the room that they could hardly wait to open them and start to use them. Once the materials were opened, they started using them immediately in the classroom. They have gone from not being the most thrilled about working on centers, to it being their favorite part of the day. I have seen a great deal of improvement through out the students just with the implementation of these materials. Once again, thank you so much for donating to my class and supporting my wonderful first grade students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Collins

  • Learning Through Play!

    Funded Aug 19, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. We have been able to use the materials in our classroom to support our social emotional learning. Our students love using the materials and games to support and expand their daily learning. These materials are just one step in helping our students get back into our learning. When the materials arrived in our classroom, our students were so excited to see what we received. Once again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my amazing students!”

  • Virtual Learning in First Grade!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students during this unusual time. These materials will definitely support our virtual learning environment and productivity. We will be using the whiteboard and chart paper as a way to create visuals and examples for the students. These will be displayed in our virtual environment. We cannot wait to dive into all the books that we were gifted! In our classroom, we love reading new books and completing activities to go along with it. These books will help us accomplish that! Once again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. We greatly appreciate it!”

  • Privacy Shields for Success!

    Funded Dec 28, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. The students were so excited to see the boxes with the privacy folders arrive to our room. We immediately unboxed them and got them set up so we could use them immediately. The folders have greatly improved our independent work and writing time. They allow the students to focus on the work that is in front of them, rather then the other students who sit at their group. It also allows the students to focus during tests. It gives the students their own private space to take their test, which allows them to focus even more. Once again, thank you for supporting my classroom and my amazing students!”

  • Sensory for Success!

    Funded Sep 21, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. We were beyond excited to receive the various sensory materials and to start using them in the classroom. These materials have made our chill zone a much more effective place then it was before. The variety of items that we were given allows each student, depending on their needs, to be able to select an item that will best suit them. It allows all of my students to be successful in our classroom no matter what. Once again, my students and I are very grateful for your support towards our classroom.”

  • Kindles for Learning!

    Funded Mar 30, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom. My students were so excited to find out that we would be having kindles in our classroom to enhance our small group learning. They were even more excited to find out that the kindles had arrived and that we could open ad begin to use them. By having the kindles, the students are able to play educational games, research projects, and work together quietly in small groups. In addition to the kindles, having the proper protective case is important as well. My students were so excited to see that the cases were in bright and beautiful colors. It was not long before each students decided which color/case was their favorite. Once again, my students and I can not thank you enough for supporting our classroom.”

  • Fish for Compassion Pt. 2

    Funded May 9, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! Having a fish in our room has had a wonderful impact on my students learning, whether that be emotional or academic. I have seen such growth with their compassion when it comes to the fish and to their fellow students. Having a classroom pet also teaches the students a sense of responsibility. The students take turns feeding and caring for the fish. The fish also adds a sense of joy to our classroom. He gives the students something to be excited for when coming to school. Having these additional fish supplies helps us care for and love our fish!”

  • Seats for Success!

    Funded Apr 30, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. The balance balls are such a fun and positive addition to our classroom. Not only do they help with student concentration, but they also help with improving behaviors. The students look forward to using the balance balls, which then leads to their positive behavior. When the balls arrived, my students had no idea what we were receiving. They were so excited to see that they were balance balls that they wanted to immediately use them! Once again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students.”

  • Supplies for 2019!

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. My students and I greatly appreciate it. With the supplies we received, we were able to start our school year off to an excellent start. Every student had the materials they needed to be successful in first grade. The supplies allowed us to complete various learning activities and crafts without the worry of running out of supplies or materials. Having enough supplies for every student allowed us to also have a wonderful classroom atmosphere. Every student was able to work at their own pace without the delay of waiting for supplies. Once again, my students and I thank you very much!”

  • Centers for Success!

    Funded Feb 12, 2019

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students. The new materials have already had such a great impact on our classroom centers. The students love being able to have their choice of activities for that day. The activities keep the students engaged and focused on their center for the entire block. When we first received the boxes, the students were so excited to open them up and to explore what we had received. It took no time for the students to understand the various games and activities and be able to use them to their full potential. Once again, thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Collins

My students absolutely love hands-on learning, which makes the t-shirt book report a fantastic learning experience for them. They will be choosing one of their favorite books and creating an in depth analysis and report on it. They will analyze story structure, characters, setting, and so much more. From there the fun begins. Students will transform their blank t-shirts into their own walking book report. By actually wearing their project, this will allow them to display their hard work and dedication through out the school for everyone to see. This is a project that the students get to keep with them and utilize outside of the school setting as well, which makes it even more exciting to get started with.
