• School Carnival Prizes

  Thank you for your generosity in bringing this project to life. Thanks to your help, our first ever school carnival was a huge success. Your donation allowed us to have great prizes at the carnival: tattoos, shells, stickers, bouncy balls, rings, fidgets, rubber insects.... we had it all!

• Preventing Summer Slide

  Thank you for your generosity in bringing this project to life. Because of you, every student took home a big, colorful, engaging workbook on the last day of school. The parents were thrilled to have an easy way to ensure their child's skills stayed sharp all summer and the kids were excited to 'play school' at home with a big, fresh workbook.

• Eric Carle Day!

  Thank you for your generosity in bringing this project to life. Our Eric Carle Day was a huge success... we spent the day reading our favorite Eric Carle books and painting like Eric Carle. At the end of the day, everyone chose a favorite Eric Carle book to take home and keep forever.

  I was thrilled that my kindergartners were immersed in a full day of quality literature and art. It made me happy to see their little minds absorbed with beautiful illustrations and comforting story lines. This was a day to remember! Thank you.”

• Pete the Cat Day!

  Thank you for your generosity in bringing Pete the Cat Day to life! My students enjoyed a great day of learning language arts and math skills with their favorite storybook character. It was a magical day, and when it was over, every student selected a Pete the Cat book to keep at home and enjoy with their families.

  Pete the Cat was featured all day. We read four Pete the Cat books, wrote about him, drew pictures of him with the scented markers you provided, and did math activities involving Pete the Cat. All in all, it was a fun, productive, exciting day.... a day to remember. Again, thank you for making it possible.”

• Playing with Math

  Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting my project, 'Playing with Math'. My students love the materials you provided. It's fun to watch the children at learning centers working the cash register, counting money, and placing orders on the toy phone while they play store; build towers of 1-10 with the sequence manipulatives, and print words and equations with the playdough stampers. The kids are 100% engaged as they use these materials- I don't think they realize they're learning! Thank you for enriching my classroom by donating to my project. You have made a difference for my students.”

  Thank you for your generosity in providing my kindergarten students with Scholastic News Let's Find Out newspapers. My students eagerly await each issue and devour them when they arrive. My class loves the engaging photos and east-to-read text.

  Let's Find Out newspapers provide my students with a great way to learn about the world around them, while providing important reading practice. My students feel a real connection to these newspapers since the topics are presented in such a kid-friendly way.

• Mask Up!

  Bright, colorful face masks! How exciting! My kindergarteners will be happy to don a special mask if and when COVID makes mask-wearing a necessity again. I believe these attractive Crayola masks will make mask-wearing much more palatable to my students.

• Kindergarten Organization!

  Thank you so much for providing my kindergartners with chair pockets. These bright, colorful, sturdy chair pockets keep my students organized, and allow me to streamline our classroom procedures because they provide a place for kids to store their journals, iPads, and finished work.

  I retired my old chair pockets after many years of service. Many were frayed and torn. When the new chair pockets arrived, everyone cheered! The kids were excited to pick their own color. They said the room looked like a rainbow with the colorful chair pockets!

These newspapers allow my children to practice their early reading skills, while they learn about science and social studies.
