  • Back to the Basics! Math Class Needs Pencils and Paper!

    Thank you for these supplies! They were so helpful for students. My students were able to have paper and pencil for their Algebra 2 classwork everyday. They had plenty of space for solving equations and inequalities. They graphed polynomial and rational functions. It was a very productive school year! For some students, the financial burden of buying new school supplies from year to year is significant. This gift was a big relief for those families. And we are very grateful!

Every math class needs pencils and paper to be successful! These tools will be used on a daily basis by my students to work out algebra and calculus problems. My hope is that by providing the basics for my students, they can focus on learning, doing, and connecting the math concepts we learn this year. These basic supplies will set my students up for a great year learning Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus! The graph post-its will put a special emphasis on graphing functions that many students need extra motivation to practice. I can't wait to use these graph post-its for a quick and effective way to graph functions and sort them into different categories.
