My students LOVE to use technology. They really excel at it and always enjoy it. They would spend all day on a laptop or iPad if I would let them. Their favorite words to hear are "Go get a laptop." They love to have stories read to them, type their spelling words, work on their math app, and play games. When we have 21 laptops reading different stories at the same time, it can get difficult for them to hear their own device and focus on their work. We need headphones to help the students focus. If you donate to our project you will be helping many second grade students use technology to it's full capability. They wouldn't get frustrated that they can't hear their device. They wouldn't get as distracted by what their neighbor was doing. It would really help them to use them more efficiently.
