It is hard to predict what will and will not work in a classroom. Especially for an intervention room with multiple disabilities. Each item is specifically chosen so that a variety of take can be done with them. Included are math tools that will help with addition and subtraction, patterns, counting, and color identification. The base ten set will help students who are learning about addition and subtraction. Unifix Cubes are for learning patterns as well as counting. The teddy counters are for counting and learning simple math tasks. Finally, the soft dice are for creative games and activities for the students to engage them in their learning. There are fine motor and sensory items the will be used to focus on improving fine motor skills and attention. The hand grip is specifically for a student who has trouble controlling his emotions, specifically anger, and needs something to squeeze. The Tangle therapy item is for one of my students who needs fidgets to focus and the ones that are in the classroom are not appropriate for him. The fine motor jars are for my students who struggle with fine motor activities. The timer will be used for the whole class to keep a set schedule and to help with smoother transitions. Each item has been carefully chosen to give the students a successful and enjoyable education. These students are so amazing and have never had much to work with. I want to be able to give them the most beneficial education that I can possibly give them. These items and your help will help show these students that they are loved and worth getting new items for.
