Starting Off the School Year Right!
Funded Aug 15, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom! My students love the new chill zone, with the blue carpet and the additional Flex-space floor seat! They love to read there with a friend or puppet, or build Lego on the rug during free choice centers.
The journals, crayons and folders have also been super convenient for writing, coloring and organizing unfinished work. The TPT gift card has also enhanced their learning by being able to buy fluency, vocabulary and spelling packets that enrich the new language arts program.
Thank you always for your generosity and support! It is truly appreciated!”

Funded Apr 19, 2024Thank you so much for funding my project and getting my wonderful first graders to summer with refreshed supplies for our classroom! We had a ton of broken headphones, dried out markers and hardened glue sticks. The students loved getting new crayons and supplies for the final couple months of school.
The storage bins house our new, much hardier and more comfortable, headphones. The wireless headphones have increased student participation in silent reading and independent learning centers because they love to wear them. I can get more than 1 small group at a time on the iPads now for increased flexibility with technology.
Your kindness, generosity and support are so appreciated!”

Get Kids off the floor with a Comfy Classroom Couch
Funded Aug 16, 2023My students absolutely love reading, relaxing and learning on the new classroom couch! It is a much desired flexible seating option. The first day the students walked into my class and saw the new couch was on Open House. They entered, squealed in delight, and clustered on and around it immediately.
Having the couch has created a space to take a break, a space to read with a friend, and a space to take a calming moment when needed. Students can choose to sit on the couch to see the board better while taking notes and can earn its special position during rug learning too. It's all around a very positive addition to the classroom. Thank you again for you generosity!”

Funded May 4, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations toward a second iPad cart for my class! Unfortunately the product was discontinued after the funds were raised. The money went toward new writing journals, glue sticks, crayons and bean bag cushions instead for my new class! Thank you so much for allowing us to start our year off so successfully!
The journals have colored lines on them that help students with letter formation. The blank boxes encourage them to illustrate their writing and in general, the writing is more engaging (and neater) when my students use these special journals rather than copied black and white paper. My students go through crayons and glue sticks very quickly, so thank you so much for a refresh on those supplies as well.
Finally, the bean bags have been such a great addition! We have created a chill zone that students love reading in, and also a space for calming down or just having some quiet time when needed.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support! It is so appreciated!”

Funded Apr 7, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations! Because of you, my first grade students are able to easily access their individual devices! The iPad charging station is so convenient and compact. The students can easily slide out the basket to independently remove and replace their iPads for daily usage. We save so much time and space because of you!
The entire class is able to use technology daily to make learning more fun through sites like Kids A-Z, Seesaw, Prodigy and Amplify. Thank you for gifting us a convenient place to store their iPads.
Please accept my deepest appreciation for your donations for my class.”

Funded Aug 13, 2021Thank you so much for the generous donations that funded our Back to the Classroom Essentials! The color coded lined, primary writing journals have been instrumental in helping my students write neatly in the lines as they explore paragraph writing.
For organizational purposes, as well, the writing journals have been an amazing resource! They are so easy to take out, put away, and store all the students' work. The clear progress is immediately revealed as you turn the pages and see their oldest to newest writing. The large square space for illustrations also encourages students to artistically add detailed drawings to match their writing.
The blue privacy boards have made spelling tests and math quizzes so much easier. The students enjoy the privacy they have as they take their tests and can focus better in the individual space that the privacy boards create. The scissors, crayons and glue sticks are also appreciated and used on a daily basis.
My students were very excited to open the packages and receive their classroom gifts! Normally students share supplies, but with Covid, there is peace of mind in having individual supplies at each desk. Thank you so much for helping our class get off to such a great start!”

Funded Feb 12, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donations! My students were so excited to receive their new PE equipment and wiggle chairs! Each day we were exploring something different from the gift boxes. Each student got to sit on the wiggle chairs to learn and they loved them! We also spent a whole week exploring hula hoop activities during PE, and had just begun bean bag games, and combining the hula hoops with the bean bags when school was shut down.
In some of the pictures I uploaded you can see the excited delight on the students' faces when they opened the boxes for the first time! They were thrilled by each item! They continued to beam with joy each time we played with and explored the items donated!
I wish we would've had more time to play football games, relay races and obstacle courses with our new balls and equipment. When school resumes, please know, my future classes will also benefit from your generosity!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Kochakji
