Students with disabilities sometimes have melt down moments. Students should have a safe, quiet area to go, and redirected until they are ready to learn. Having a vast variety of choices of materials and supplies in the classroom will not only inspire my students to use their expressive language and sensory skills, but will allow them to explore and create those life experiences that will be utilize and assist with making them productive citizens in the future. The students come to school with variable outliers that affects their emotion and before learning can take place, basics needs have to be address.
