At the beginning of the year, I conducted a book tasting in my classroom. I put a book on each of their desks and for 3 minutes they read that book and then passed it to the right. After previewing 4 different books they had the option to take one home. 100 student took books home that day! I need help replenishing my library to do this activity again! Reading books on their own time helps my students build their vocabulary and their confidence in reading. All of this helps them achieve and improve in English!
