  • Floor Puzzles

    Funded Feb 12, 2025

Thank you so much for investing in my littler learners. I wish you could've seen the excitement on their faces when they saw their new puzzles. Puzzles have become a favorite center in my classroom. The puzzles in my classroom were worn down and some were missing pieces. Thank you for bringing a new spark to the puzzle center.

At the puzzle center students work together to complete a task. Giving them more opportunities to work on social, fine-motor, problem solving, and visual perception skills while having fun is such a gift. The students have enjoyed having a variety of puzzles to choose from. I can see the new energy in their eyes when they browse their new options.

Thank you again for your generous donation. You made my kids feel loved and special. It made my teacher heart so happy to see it. I appreciate you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lentz

  • Dramatic Play

    Funded Feb 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The dramatic play materials will help bring learning to life. I wish you could have seen the excitement on my students faces' when they saw the new materials. It warms my heart to know that people care about their learning.

The students had a great time during our imagination and build unit playing with the tools and building the vehicles. I loved watching their minds work as they pretended to build things with the tools. I can't wait to introduce all of the materials.

Thank you again for caring about my students. You have helped bring learning to life. They are our future and extremely valuable to our world.”

  • Book Storage

    Funded Nov 15, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations. I appreciate it more than you know. Unfortunately the original item was out of stock. I ordered a new shelf for our library to replace it. Also, I was able to order an organizer for my expo markers.

The new shelf holds baskets of books and items for our literacy center. It has helped me organize the area. Also, things are much easier for the students to access. The students and I absolutely love it! The organizer has helped with our morning meeting. It helps me find my writing utensil quickly.

Thank you again for making my classroom amazing. My students deserve the best learning environment. You made that possible.”

  • Classroom Decor

    Funded Sep 26, 2021

Thank you for your generous donation. My students are using the new materials for learning. They love the way the new decor brightens their classroom. You can see the pride in their eyes.

The individual letters have helped me build a word wall. I have the letter poster next to their writing station. They can use it to look at when trying to remember how to form certain letters. The birthday and inspirational poster brighten their spirits!

They were very excited to see the new items added to their classroom. They deserve a warm and inviting space to learn in. Your donation made our classroom beautiful and educational. Thank you again!”

  • Document Camera

    Funded May 27, 2021

Thank you so much for investing in my students. I can't wait to show them our new document camera. The document camera will allow me to keep students safe. Also, it will allow me to properly show them materials and techniques. I can't wait to utilize it this year.

Thank you for keeping my students safe. The document camera will allow me to show them objects or techniques projected on our smart board. This is important, because the students need to see what I'm doing while keeping a safe distance from each other. It will improve their learning environment.

The document camera will be beneficial for virtual learning. If we revert back to virtual learning I can show them proper letter formation using the document camera. I won't have to hold up a white board and draw, while using my camera picture as a guide. This is a huge help!

Thank you again for investing in my students. They are amazing and deserve it. We appreciate you!”

  • Library Bench

    Funded May 6, 2021

Thank you for your generous donation. My students and I love the new library bench. The kids noticed it right away. It makes the library more appealing to the students.

The new library bench fits perfectly! It has freed up more space in the library area. I love that I am able to neatly store my books underneath it.

The students were so excited. I told them somebody that cared about them donated it to our classroom. Of course, everyone wanted to go to library center to try out the new bench.

I can't thank you enough for investing in my students. They are so amazing and deserve it. Your donation means the world to me and them. Thanks again!”

  • Classroom Cabinet

    Funded Feb 13, 2021

Thank you so much for my beautiful new classroom cabinet! It makes the room look beautiful. It fits in perfectly. The kids were excited to see the new cabinet.

The cabinet is a beautiful color. It matches the other cabinets in my room. Also, it's low to the ground and safe for my early childhood classroom. The other cabinet was large, bulky, and broken. This one gives me the same amount of storage space, while taking up less room. The kids have more room to scoot their chairs back and a bigger walkway.

I can't express how truly thankful I am. I appreciate you investing in my class and students. They deserve a beautiful and safe classroom!”

    With gratitude,

  • Learning Through Play

    Funded Mar 15, 2020

Thank you for your generous donation. The students are going to have a great time with these materials. Unfortunately, students haven't been able to attend in person due to COVID. I can't wait for them to come back to school and participate in this lesson. I love being able to tie literature to play. Learning through play is vital for my students. The students will be able to act out the book, Growing Vegetable Soup. They are going to love planting vegetables and making vegetable soup in the dramatic play center.”

  • iPad for STEM & Coding

    Funded Oct 2, 2019

Thank you for your donations for our iPad. Technology is a tool my students must learn to use. With the ipad, my students will be introduced to coding and other learning activities. They will be so excited when they find out they are getting one. I can't wait to see the look on their faces!

My students will have to take an assessment on an iPad next year. Students must learn how to operate an iPad, if they are to be successful taking the test. Thanks to you, they will have an advantage in kindergarten.

I will upload coding games for the students to play. Coding is a field that will be a work possibility for many of my students. Being introduced to it in pre-k will give them a head start.

Also, my students will be thrilled when I introduce the iPad. They'll feel so loved to know somebody cared about their education. Thank you so much! You are greatly appr”

I teach Pre-K for Wilson Elementary at Horace Mann Pre-K Center in Oklahoma City. I use arts integration to reach my little learners. They are very active and need materials that help them interact with the content they are learning. Did you know about 90% of the brain is developed by kindergarten?! My students range in age from four to five years old. This is a critical learning year for them. They are little sponges soaking up everything around them. If you come into my classroom you will see children playing. I have structured areas set up for play based-learning. I Iove this quote by Mr. Rogers ,"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." Thank you for taking the time to read about my class. I want to set my students up for success! With your donation I can do this.
