Having a new classroom library with different reading level books will help ensure all readers will find it enjoyable to find a good book for their reading time. Students will also like being able to find a good book on their personal reading level. This will eliminate the constant changing of books because they are bored and enable students to share more. The best way to motivate students to read is by being able to give them choice and a variety of books to read! Students will be thankful for choice and variety inside their classroom. This will also allow good conferencing with students. Students are excited to tell me about books they are interested in and can relate to. I believe with a better selection of books in the classroom library more students will be excited to read and look forward to conferencing with me and sharing with other students.
