• Let's All Do Our Part by Keeping Our Room Clean!

  Having this awesome vacuum has made our classroom so much nicer and cleaner. We don't have to wait for vacuuming to get done by the custodian once a week. Students share the job of vacuuming at the end of the day and now they all want that job! It's so easy to use, light and very effective in vacuuming up!

  When we first got it, I opened the box in front of them and they all cheered with excitement.

• Learning Is Best in a Clean Space!

  Thank you so much for making this project possible! Although the vacuum we had selected was discontinued and there wasn't a comparable one to choose, instead we were able to get seating that gives students options on where they learn best. Students love them and really take care of them. As a class, we came up with a system that is very useful for students as to when and how to use the seats. I know they will be used for many years to come. You have made a positive impact in our class and students' flexible seating options! You are the BEST!!!”

• Bottoms Down! On the Carpet, That is

  I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have this wonderful rug that my students use daily and multiple times a day. I'd say a large part of the day, the rug is being used. The circles/squares allow them to visibly see and stay in their own space. They are the perfect size for their bodies! So much time is saved when they have to go to the carpet because they can go straight to their spot and not have to just have "an idea" of their general area. Now we have more learning time and it adds up! You have made a huge impact in our class and for many years to come for other students as well. You are the BEST!!!”

• Magnetism Helps Learning Stick!

  This magnetic easel has made student learning more fun and engaging than I imagined. When we received it, students were curious as to how we would use it in the classroom.

  The versatility of it has been wonderful. It can be used for ALL subject areas! I especially use it regularly for writing and Math. Both the students and I use this awesome easel daily. It really does make a difference, especially compared to our old one that was super heavy and not magnetic.

• Printing, Printing... READ all About it!!

  Our class is extremely grateful for your generosity and making it possible for us to have an accessible printer. It used to be quite time consuming to have to locate a printer on campus. Saving time allows me as a teacher to plan more and provide more activities for my students.

  This printer will be used for many years to come!

  Sometimes students need final writings printed during class and now don't have to wait until the next day for me to print and go retrieve them. This allows them to go on to more learning faster.

• Bilingual Classroom + Flexible Seating = Optimal Learning

  Your generosity made it possible for our class to enjoy more flexible seating options! Increasing the options for them has reduced the "race" to get the seating they prefer because we have an entire new table with these 6 new flexible stools that students have to choose from. Many students throughout the years will enjoy them and most importantly benefit because the purpose of them is to enhance their learning. You've already made an impact on 2 different classes and what's more awesome is that more classes will continue. Thanks a million for the gift that keeps on giving!!! You are making our classroom a "true" flexible seating environment!

• Got Wiggles? So Do We! We Need Adjustable Seating!

  When we got our package (stools), my students were super excited and happy! They couldn't wait to get to groups and specifically to have their group meet at the horseshoe table where the stools are located.

  Now students always look forward to meeting with me for reading groups. The stools allow students to move around without interrupting their not anyone's learning. It actually helps them learn better because they can keep their blood flowing. Not only does it benefit students with various degrees of adhd, but it helps every student. All students love to use the stools and they are used appropriately at all times!

  The great thing about this gift is that many students will benefit from these stools for years to come as they are flexible and sturdy. I can't wait to start the next new year with them! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!!! ♥️”

• Calling All Spanish Books for Our Classroom Library!

  My students and I are beyond happy and excited to have so many new Spanish books! We used to have one red book bin (indicating the Spanish books), compared to about 15 blue (English) book bins. Now we have 6 Spanish book bins and the quality of the books is the best! It is so much easier for students to select a Spanish book for our Spanish reading/writing weeks (they read one week English and one week Spanish). They love the books and are super grateful for them!

  I also started reading aloud some of them like the short vignettes by Gary Soto. I do read alouds at least 1-2 times a week. Even though they are 5th graders, they truly enjoy them.

  Students also helped me place a special angel sticker in each book as a reminder of this kind, generous donation. I am glad that these books will be enjoyed by many more students for years to come.
