My students are reading under grade level and the only way to bring that up is by reading! Please bring us some books to read! The only way to improve our reading is to practice reading. I have started a book club for readers to get more practice but we need books that we can all share together. Having just one copy of each just won't do it. I would like ten of each of these books so that we can really learn to love reading and encourage more in the future. This book club is changing the way students are looking at assigned reading. Rather than being teacher-led, the book clubs are student-led. They discuss what they noticed from the books and what this means for the world and their learning.
