• Future Scientists Center

  I am writing to express my appreciation for your generous donation to this project. It is so important for students to not only have the necessary tools but also to be able to easily get to them. With your support my student now have both!

  Third grade science standards can be challenging but these items will help bring science to life. It is necessary for students to have hands-on items that relate to our standards. This center gives them an advantage they need and it has been rewarding to see them use and take care of the items.

• There's No Place Like Home

  Thank you so much for supporting this grant. My students were so excited to receive the huge boxes and they could hardly believe they were for them. These stools gave my students a special feeling of belonging and even cooler place to sit around the room. The bright colors adds excitement to our classroom which is a home away from home for them.

  They will use them this year as well as future classes in the future. The items are durable enough to last for years to come! Thank you again for your support of public education. I hope you decide to fund other teachers on Donors Choose in the future.”

  My students were so excited to receive this massive collection of nonfiction biographies. They were even more excited to see their teacher happy to see them learning so much about these important figures in history.

  The book report posters were a fun way to incorporate presenting facts learned with their peers and display them in the hallway for all to see.

  The books we've received have helped my students improve upon their reading skills and offer so many interesting titles. My students were so excited when the packages began arriving! I even let them open the boxes and their faces really lit up when I told them the items were for them!

  Scholastic News is the perfect resource for students to practice answering nonfiction text questions and it prepares them for standardized testing. The articles and fun and current. The videos are interactive and my students love being able to participate in online polls. Afterwards, they even get to have their graphing skills reinforced as they interpret the data collected.
