My students need activities that can be done indoors and with limited space. Speed stacks will provide a fun Physical Education activity that can be used across all grade levels inside the classroom. There are many benefits to practicing Speed Cup Stacking. Cup stacking activates both the left and right side of the brain and requires bilateral coordination. It will help improve hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and fitness. Making the body and brain connection is key and has proven to help improve math and reading scores.
Maybe the best part of this project is that Cup Stacking provides a level playing field for everyone. Kids that maybe don't excel in traditional Physical Education have an opportunity to participate and shine.
