A lot of times in upper elementary students are not given access to hands on learning experiences. Students don't have access to learning centers at their grade level. Students will use the mathematics center games to help expand on prior knowledge and keep them engaged in the learning process.
The goal of this project to help students excel in the area of mathematics by providing them with hands on materials. Currently my students are transitioning from lower elementary to upper elementary. They really enjoy mathematics because a lot of their activities were hands on. I want my students to continue to enjoy math. When students are engaged the learn a great deal.
