Reaching Beyond Our Challenges
Funded Feb 1, 2025Thank you so much for your donations! My students are going to enjoy creating and discovering solar powered cars. Students will learn skills that many think they will not be capable of carrying out. I am a believer in giving individuals opportunities to do their level best no matter what obstacles they face. This project will be one of the things students remember learning about in 2nd grade. Students will be able to have hands on experience in building with their hands. I can't wait to bring this project to my classroom for my students - thanks to all of you! Again, thank you!”

Ms. Rose

Funded Oct 26, 2022The students were marveled through the donations that were received to enhance their reading and learning. Nine students started out at below average readers, six were average and four were above average with one excelling to great heights.
When we first received our packages the students were elated and ready to use each item. I get personal when I say my babies. They really progressed tremendously. After using the materials and by the end of the year, all students had progressed. All my below kindergarten level students scores increased tremendously. At the end of the year I had 6 students that hade increased from below to at least a high kindergarten level, I had 3 students were at first grade level, 7 on grade level and 5 that excelled their levels. They all made me a very proud teacher.
Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. I am excited to continue to use he materials with student in future classrooms.”

Money Money Money
Funded Oct 22, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donation for the Money, money, money project. The items donated were essential in helping with real time scenarios of money consciousness. The cash registers helped the students to formulate ideas for careers and many stated they wanted to own their own businesses because they can be in control of their money. LOL Many used it to learn the value of the cash and coins. It brought lots of adventures to our classroom. The imaginations of the student was stretched beyond what they saw and into what they desire to be in the future.
Thank you so much for your kindness and love.”

Funded Sep 25, 2021We would like to take the time to say thank you for your love and generosity for donating to our classroom. The impact of using the dry erase markers to assist students with hands on learning has been a great asset for their enrichment. The students are so excited when they are able to spontaneously give answers using their whiteboards and dry erase markers.
I have seen tremendous growth with the students as they build independent learning skills that will enable them to be prepared for third grade. The students that were shy and timid now feel empowered and they have a voice when contributing to the class assignments. They have blossomed tremendously and it is all to the assistance of loving people like you that value the learning process and willing to give a hand to assist the teachers.”

Funded Jul 29, 2021My class would like to say thank you for your love and generosity for the supplies you gifted our class with. The students have gained so much knowledge from using the items such as the sight words kits. The students were struggling due to being online for most year last year per parents choice. The students that were in my class were struggling tremendously with sight words and making complete sentences that they were becoming discouraged in themselves. But due to having the kits that allowed them to work one on one with me as well as individually has helped them become independent. The students were also amazed at the United States of American map that they inadvertently learned them without even knowing their potential of memorizing and telling a few things about them.
I want to thank you for all your support and gifts to the schools and teachers that help to benefit our students.”

Funded Nov 14, 2017Just wanted to say thank you for your generous support. Your donation to our class has helped a numerous amount of my ELL and non ELL students with becoming more verbal in the classroom. The children get excited when they get the puppets and begin to retell the stories. They have grown to understand what key details, characters, and settings are using the fiction books. You can hear my students that are very shy open up and become more verbal with the material you donated. We are forever grateful and thank you for you support.”
