Students will draw, color and label each part of a plant cell and animal cell using multi-colored construction papers, markers, color pencils, crayons etc. As a part of learning the cell vocabulary, they need multi- colored flash cards. I will display the major vocabulary, concepts etc. in the pocket chart so that my students can use these resources to review for their tests/quiz and during center rotation assignments. With these supplies, my students can enthusiastically engage in learning to show their creativity. This project will also enable my students to compare and contrast plant cells and animal cells. Students will continue to apply their knowledge when they do cell labs.
