These Chromebooks will be used in centers during reading class. Students will be researching biographies, looking up facts and practicing reading strategies. For example, the life of Milton Hershey will be a "sweet" study when students look up facts from his life and use those facts in their research report. There is no doubt that Chromebooks assist with a multitude of diverse learning levels! My students learning levels are widespread and all levels will benefit from these Chromebooks! Bringing the world to the students brings knowledge to the classroom! Adding this technology would give my students a much needed opportunity to practice reading and writing strategies. Students who are confident in their reading and writing abilities will be ready to face the challenges of 3rd grade and beyond!
