Computers Capture Our World!

Thank you for your generous donation. My class is very grateful for your interest in our education and how you made it more exciting and easier for them to learn. Many of my students have a difficult time learning. Having access to technology stimulates their interest and desire to explore. In the classroom we use the laptops to improve our reading and math skills with the programs that the school has purchased. We are hoping that by using these programs testing scores will go up. We also use the laptops to look up information for math and science projects. The laptops are useful for on the spot math tutoring, a resource component in our math series.

My students were so excited when we received the boxes with the laptops. We opened them together and their faces lit up. They could not believe that complete strangers would give them such a cool gift! After charging and formatting the laptops my students were given the opportunity to explore. I gave them different topics and asked them to find out information related to the topic and to share with the class.

My students Woffiee and Joel were truly touched by your gift. They thought that it was so cool that someone gave their teacher laptops for her class. However,I do believe that all of my students were touched to know that people care about kids. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.”
