Flexible seating has been shown to help students become more engaged and excited to be at school and participate fully in their education. My students love having different options for seating as well as seating that helps with wiggly students. The stools, donut seats, and floor seats will be used throughout the day during independent work, partner reading, small group work and whole group lessons for students who need to move a little, or those who would like a break from sitting in a hard chair. These flexible seating options will be put to good use by my students and help make our classroom an inviting, flexible environment where all students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

About my class
