  • Flexible Seating Creates Critical Thinking

    Funded Aug 24, 2022

    My students love the Yoga Balls we were able to get for our classrooms. The ability to have a yoga ball really gets their jitters out in a quiet and fun way. Some students use them every day, some only on days when they really need to concentrate. This flexible seating helps students concentrate without interupting other students. Usually they would tap a pencil or shake their legs, but now they can quietly bounce on their yoga balls. It's good that the students are able to experience different types of seating and see what works best for them and make decisions based on that.

  • Our First AP Government and Politics Class

    Thank you so much for your donations to my AP Government class. Being the first AP course in our school in years, your materials were very helpful. We have maps on the wall for easy reference. The binders, post its, and highlighters are very helpful to students to stay organized for this course.

    We also got AP study books which come in super handy to help students prepare for the exam that will take place this spring.

  • Resources for Our Room

    My students are very happy that we got these resources. We got power strips so everyone can plug in their ipad or laptop from anywhere in the room. This is so helpful as our school tries to move to a one to one technology in the district. Schools were not buildt with that in mind so power strips with long cords help.

    We also got a shelf for storage in the classroom. It's super nice and makes the classroom look neater because things are inside it and not messing up the room.

    We appreciate the donations and help getting these much needed material.”
