Make WARHOL Not War
Funded Dec 18, 2009We have started using all the art materials that you all so kindly donated to our classroom and we are so grateful. The pictures illustrate how the gifts have resonated with the students' and demonstrate how engaged they have become in painting. Watching the children paint and use their imagination during an art activity is very fulfilling. Painting will help the children cultivate their imagination and learn how to problem solve. While they paint they will can plan and learn to complete a project from beginning to end. These materials will be used every day and will surely enhance the artistic development of some very special four year olds. Young children need to explore sensory materials and they also need to strengthen their fine motor skills.
I cannot thank you enough for making it possible to immerse my young students' in the arts. Painting and art projects that involve paint is a huge part of an early childhood education. The paint will be used for this class as well as the new group of children that will be coming in September. The paper will also be used for two classes of preschool and was really needed. Once again, thank you for helping us out and for believing in the importance of educating an awesome group of four year olds. It is great to know that others really care about children and the quality of their education.
All of us in preschool appreciate what you all have done for us.”

Thank you so much for deciding to fund our proposal for dress-up costumes and for believing in the magical moments of a young child's life. Children love imaginative play because they can be whatever they want to be. This type of play not only makes them happy but makes them feel independent and strong. The children will be given the opportunity to express themselves while they are growing and learning new things. They will also develop social skills and refine their language skills. Thank you for the precious moments you will make brighter by your generous gift”
