  • A New Place for Learning and Growing

    Thank you so much for funding my project. I am thrilled that my students will have a proper place to work outside. These materials also allow students an opportunity to engage in a variety of activities during recess. Students collaborating together also gives them chances to improve their social skills. Your contribution was deeply appreciated!

    The students have enjoyed being able to sit with each other each day during our snack time as well as working together on science projects outside. The tables were truly a needed item.

    We will continue to use the STEM materials and the tables well into the next semester. The students are happy not have sit on the ground for learning new content.”

  • STEM for the New Gen

    I am very grateful to have received all of the fabulous STEM materials. The students have enjoyed working with the kits and have been using a variety of skills to problem solve. In addition to improving their science and math skills, the kits have provided an opportunity for the students to work on improving their social skills and conversation abilities. The magnet kits were a big hit and the students have been extremely creative with their building creations. Thank you again for the useful and practical items to implement STEM in my classroom.”

Students are curious by nature. They need to be engaged with text that is presented in a dynamic and entertaining fashion. My students would benefit from receiving the weekly Scholastic News magazine ( titled- Let's Find Out) not only to practice literacy skills, but also be exposed to science and social studies content. The magazine extends many of the topics that I plan on teaching in my classroom this year. I have used this magazine in the past and it definately increased the level of student engagement, fluency practice, and sight word recognition. My students always look foward to Scholastic Magazine day!

About my class
