Funded May 18, 2023We have been using the labels to label the childrens work as well as their things. We have labeled their mailboxes, their chromebooks and their glue cups. The labels are very important in showing the children which glue cup, chromebook, and paper is theirs. Labels are a great way to show ownership for their things.
The children have loved having labels to label their art work as well as other things around the classroom so they can tell what is theirs and what belongs to their friends. The labels allow their name to be neat and visible to the naked eye. The children dont really know how to write their name well at this point so this makes it easy to stick a label on it and know whose it is.
In the next steps for my project, we will continue to label our artwork daily to insure neatness and speed.
Thank you so much for giving to my project! We are so thankful for donors like you to help teachers reach their goals. Thank you!”

Funded Oct 22, 2016Technology is such a crucial resource at such a young age, and we are thrilled to have this resource in our classroom. Technology in our room helps students practice independently on skills such as letter naming, letter formation, writing and even reading. Through our new Boogie Boards students are finding a new and fun way to practice writing skills. Boogie Boards are helping our students learn the importance of writing in a fun and kindergarten friendly way.
Students are especially excited about Boogie Boards because it a new mean of writing, it's something they have never seen before. Introducing something new like this to them has opened up a new window of opportunity. They love the bright colors of the Boogie Boards as well as the magical erasing feature. Letters are bright and draw their attention immediately making them ready and willing to write words. Knowing that they will have the opportunity to use the Boogie Boards makes them eager to write.
Students are so eager to have their turn to write on Boogie Boards after seeing their friends and teachers use them. They are constantly asking when it is going to be their turn to use the Boogie Boards to write with. Boogie Boards have been a big hit in our entire classroom. As their teacher, I am excited to offer this opportunity to them. Through Boogie Boards writing has become more fun and engaging. I can't wait to see how many different and fun writing activities we can find to use with our Boogie Boards.”

Little Learners!
Funded Apr 21, 2010Thank you for donating to my classroom. We have used the materials you donated to us in so many ways! They have helped my children learn letters, sounds, and sight words.
I have used the letter stamps and ink to help my children recognize letters, match letters, and have fun with literacy centers while learning. We all love the alphabet sounds game! It helps the children in matching the sound to its letter or matching letters to letters. The magnetic sight words are going to be a great tool as the year goes on in using them in small group to go over sight words without having to write them on the board. I will be able to just stick them up on the board and move along so we can go faster and learn more! The tactile letters are great in helping the children learn their letters and how to write them!
Thank you so much for donating materials to our classroom! We love them so much and use them all the time! Thank you for everything you do! :)”
