Using Whiteboard To Increase Learning
Funded Sep 16, 2020My students were very ecstatic when they walked into the classroom for the first time after being at home for a long time. The materials donated by you were a hit with them. When they saw the colorful Dry-Erase Dots Circles Whiteboard, Markers, the headphone, etc... on their desk, they said thank you, Mrs. Hollimon. They chose their favorite color and sat down. Once the class started, I told them about the project and how kind people like you cared enough about them to donate money to purchase these materials. All these materials were made possible because of your generous heart. Thank you, Thank you. I work on the Southeast side of Chicago, where many parents can not afford to purchase the necessary supplies. Your support made all the difference to my students.
The Dry-erase Dots Circle and other materials are used during Math. Students used Colorful Dry-Erase Dots Circles Whiteboard and Markers to calculate the solution to the math problem. They are very happy to work on it especially when they are working in a small group setting. The Whiteboard project positively impacts my classroom because now my students are more engaged and can no longer use excuses about not having paper or pencil to write with. On behalf of my students Thank You”

Funded Aug 2, 2019Thank You! Thank You!
How do I begin to say thank you for all that you have done for my students? Ruth 2:12 stated "May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done.
Because of your generosity, I now have three more Chromebooks in my classroom for my students to use. The extra Chromebooks will now give my students the opportunity to practice math skills online with immediate feedback, have lessons tailored to meet their academic goals and giving them extra practices that is limited in textbooks. With the Chromebooks in class I now have more time to implement more small groups and target instruction for all learners. Having access to the Chromebooks will also give me more of an opportunity to allow my students to integrate more creative elements into their work and research. Because of your support, I can begin to transform the learning experiences of a dynamic group of students because they can now go on the computer more frequently without having to wait for days. The three extra Chromebooks made a difference in my students' life. Thank You and may God richly bless you for your kindness.”
