My students love to read. They especially love books and magazines that are colorful and belong to THEM! These weekly current events and science magazines will provide wonderful, quality reading materials for my students, many who have very few, if any, family-provided books at home at all! Each week, we will read the magazines together, building vocabulary and fluency. Then, the students can practice reading the magazines at home to a loved one or simply to themselves, providing countless hours of enjoyment. Thank you to all who are willing to help my students cultivate a love for reading and learning, while at the same time building a "library" of engaging reading resources for them to call their own.
