The materials I am requesting for my classroom will improve my students learning immensely. The books and magnetic letters I have requested are there to inspire and engage students in word work and reading. I also requested book bins and organization containers so that the students have a place to store their books and materials for easy access to their reading materials. The students will use these reading materials 3-5 times daily our during daily 5 activities. I have also requested a few popular read aloud books that I would love to read to my students. My hope and dream is to create and inspire a love for reading in each student. I will read aloud to the students each day. My hope is that all my students will have all the materials they need and have nothing get in the way of their learning. Our classroom is also in need of several different math materials. The math materials we are in need of will allow all students to be hands on with their learning and differentiate instruction to meet their needs. I requested a base ten block classroom set, math link cubes, write and wipe fact family boards, gear clocks, and bingo chips to use when counting, adding, or subtracting. These math materials will help my students during math instruction and centers and be used everyday. I want my students to have an environment that they enjoy coming to each day. An environment that is safe and centered around learning. The materials provided to my students will be use each day and allow the students different opportunities to learn the content taught. I am willing to go above and beyond for each student and so very thankful for anyone who is willing to help me do so.
