These novels will help create a stimulating and engaging learning environment centered around literature. By providing each student with their own copy of the literature, they will be able to better focus and comprehend the meaning of what is being read. My hope is that by providing students with current and popular book titles, they will have an increased desire to read and jump into the world each book creates. It has been proven that students who excel in reading become more successful in other academic areas, due to the fact that reading is the foundation of most everything we do! This Donors Choose project will help me to create an environment where my students develop a true love for reading and a passion for reading. The books I am requesting include a variety of genres and will help to develop reading comprehension skills and vocabulary skills. In addition, these books also provide opportunities to teach students about positive character traits and life lessons, all through the exciting and engaging world the book creates. In saying all this, I would greatly appreciate if you would partner with me to help pave a path of success for my students!
