The materials that I am requesting will help me provide scientific opportunities to my students while in my classroom. By wearing lab coats and googles, students will get to feel like real scientists in a real laboratory. All the while, they will be learning about and practicing how to safely perform scientific explorations. I always teach my students about safety first and it would be amazing to have some supplies to help reinforce these lessons. Students will not only preform scientific experiments and investigations, they will actually become scientists! They will explore, build models, compare and contrast different objects, make observations and solve mysteries. While doing so they will learn to love science rather than be intimidated by it!
