As an educator in these trying times here in Arizona, it's hard to put into words the amount of inspiration and gratitude I feel right now thanks to your generosity. We continue to fight for funding for our schools, our teachers, support staff and students. Without your support a project like this just isn't currently possible here. I cannot wait to show you all the exciting times we will have in class with these great stories that will help bring meaning to the language for my students.”

I need to build a library of easy Spanish readers for my Spanish 1 and 2 students. The language classroom is changing so that students can actually acquire the language rather than just memorizing for a test, then forever forgetting it. Reading is a huge piece of the new puzzle and giving students a variety of engaging, comprehensible stories is key. Pobre Ana and Patricia va a California are a couple titles with some really engaging stories. Reading can open the doorway to language acquisition. I'd like a couple class sets, then a variety of books to create a class library.
