  • Ways to Connect With Knex!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you so much for helping us fund our project!

Teaching STEM at a young age can help encourage more kids to pursue a career in STEM. While kids might not be planning their futures in elementary or middle school, introducing them to various subjects when they are younger can instill a lifelong interest and passion in subjects, encouraging them to seek degrees and jobs in that field.

STEM is an excellent subject for promoting equality in the classroom since all kids can participate in lessons and activities. Introducing STEM to younger students can help give children of color the hands-on learning experience and opportunities to explore STEM subjects. Thanks again for helping us expose our kids to more STEM activities!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Keyes

  • Class Food Pantry for Our Social Emotional Lunch Bunch!

    Funded Jan 26, 2023

As educators, we're often focused on the academic portion of supporting our students and yes, that's the main aspect of our jobs. I however know that it's more encompassing than that. Teaching in a low-income under privilege demographic that's food insecure greatly impacts the viability to relate to students with growling bellies. The food pantry has allowed us to support our students in a more holistic way. To offer a bite to each to quiet the stomach rumbling has a way of opening minds. Thanks again for everything!”

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Words absolutely cannot express my sincere gratitude for helping us with our project! I will tell my kiddos how much of a blessing you were to us and I will make sure we put everything to good use and we will take great care of everything as well! We are super excited! Thanks again! God Bless You!”

  • Read and Glow Together

    Funded Feb 12, 2021

Thank you soooooo much for helping us get our project funded! My kids have enjoyed reading and glowing together! The smiles on their faces made my day! They were completely floored when I showed them! They love reading their books of interest and sending me pictures of them reading with their LED lights showing. So many of my students always wanted LED lights and couldn't afford them. The parents were also appreciative and showed their love for the project. Thanks again for helping us keep reading alive!”

  • A Safe Place For Our Supplies!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you again for all of your generous donations! Because of you, we have a safe place to store our supplies! They can be safely locked and put away so that we can have them for a very long time! I showed my students the cabinets while we were online and they all cheered! One student said...you guys were angels in disguise. When we all get back into our classroom, we will work together to put all of our classroom supplies away nice and neatly. I will have a student ambassador to make sure that everyone keeps their word and keeps our cabinets clean! Thanks again for making this happen for us!”

  • K's Kids! Young Authors In the Making!

    Funded Sep 8, 2017

Your donation has awarded my students the opportunity to get better in reading, as well as be excited about learning new literacy concepts! They absolutely LOVE working on their tablets, as they become more independent in their thinking as well as in their learning. Our studnets are now able to have better small group sessions because we now have additional technology to do so! I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation and the huge impact it has had on my students! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! You ROCK!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Keyes

My students need electronic tablets to do all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment. Having a class set of chromebooks or tablets coupled with electronic reading programs, will help us enhance each students reading ability. My students need reading programs that help with reading comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Providing students with a reading center or reading corner is just another way to differentiate instruction which helps make learning meaningful and exciting. Your generous donation to our project will improve our 5th grade reading classroom by building stronger readers and writers. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will continue to love reading and feel success in class while having fun learning!
