  • Interactive Adaptable Books

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you for your generous donation which helped my students be able to learn at a level that is right for them.

The materials purchased provided unique, engaging opportunities for my students to participate successfully in similar curriculum and activities as their typically developing peers.

The students were able to work independently and were proud of themselves. Your donation allowed for these students to use hands on interactive books that each and every student was engaged in.

Our class thanks you for your continued support for classrooms like ours!”

    With gratitude,

The students are making shapes and letters in untraditional ways. Again, thank you for giving our students this opportunity! Imaginative play is critical for Pre-K students, especially students who speak various languages. Engaging in dramatic play teaches the students social skills, cultural diversity, healthy choices and problem solving skills. With such a rigorous curriculum, this play based center will be beneficial for students! Students of a second language often feel most comfortable first in social settings then followed by academic settings. This dramatic play area will encourage their academic language through a more place based approach. Students who already speak English will also benefit by acquiring crucial life skills. Dramatic play benefits all students in my classroom. Thank you!
