The CMM Art Studio is a safe, creative, and supportive environment for learning and growing through the arts. While the focus is on visual art, we incorporate other types of artistic expression regularly. My goal as an educator is to guide students to discover the tools within themselves to become happy, productive citizens of their world. Middle school can be a challenging time of change and identity development. Collaborating with a variety of students and developing compassion and empathy are valuable components of our art experience. Each year is different as we learn and grow together, and trust me, I learn so much from my amazing students and am constantly inspired by them.
