This is my first year teaching in my very own classroom. Unfortunately, many of my students are not able to provide their own supplies due to cost. I do not believe that this should stifle their creativity in any way. My students will use the school supplies to create works of art, build sets, and produce their very own books. These activities, accompanied with the curriculum, create memorable experiences that students will not soon forget. Most importantly, my students need a library that will inspire them to become curious critical thinkers. My 5th graders must make a habit of reading in order to make their dreams a reality!
