  • Fun With Fact Fluency

    Thank you and thank you again! A love of math does not happen easily. Your support gives every second grade student in my class a way to learn fact fluency in a new way. In my last two years at my school, I have heard so many children say they didn’t like math, simply because they didn’t always understand it. My goal is to provide every child with a love, and secure understanding of their math standards. My motivation is to increase their love of math which will increase their love of learning. Thank you for giving and helping me reach my goal.”

Technology is becoming a huge deal in the classroom today. It is very important that my students have the opportunity to learn how to use a variety of technology. Having Dash and Dot robots will help my students learn to code, as will coding legos. There are also many other learning opportunities, such as math and reading games made possible by adding these robots to our classroom. Dash and Dot will be used during small group learning. Versatiles are a fun way for students to practice math facts as well as practice reading skills. These will be used in a small group setting on a daily basis.These items will greatly enrich the learning atmosphere in my classroom!

About my class
