  • Can You Hear Me Now!? Class Set of Headphones

    Funded Sep 9, 2019

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. My students were very happy when they were able to open up their new headphones. They said there was a "Christmas feeling," in the classroom.

Students are very excited to use their headphones with their educational programs on their Chromebooks. One of my students is new from Mexico and she is enjoying learning English on Rosetta Stone with her new headphones. This would not have been possible without your donations.

As you can see on the pictures that I have uploaded, you have brought a smile to many very grateful, hardworking students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

  • Learn to Read.... Read to Learn

    Funded Jul 14, 2017

Thank you so much for your donations. The books have truly made a difference to my classroom library and towards the attitude that my students have on reading. My students were super excited when the books came in. They wanted to get their hands on them right away. Before students were able to read the books I let them know who our donors were and how much you appreciate and love reading.

Some of the books that were donated are a reading level or two to high for some of my students. This has motivated some of my students to improve their reading level quickly so that they can read the books!! This is another way that your donation has had an impact on my readers. I have one student in particular who has been reading an hour every night at home and repeatedly asks me to test him because he cant wait to start reading the Dork Diaries series.

Your donation has been a blessing to all of my students. Seeing their eyes light up due to books is amazing to see. Words aren't enough to show my appreciation. Thank you all so much.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

I teach 23 very hardworking, intelligent 4th graders who are in need of headphones for their Chromebooks. My students enjoy learning math and literacy on their Chromebooks but sometimes can’t access audio on certain educational applications because we currently do not have a class set of headphones. Allowing each of my student to have their own pair of headphones would allow each student to benefit from sound and would allow me to incorporate more differentiated learning opportunities for each student. The noise canceling of the headphones would also be very beneficial for students while taking assessments including the SBAC. Thank you for helping my students succeed.
