The items requested would allow each student to have their own personal supplies to use every day this year! It would allow students to take ownership of their items and learn responsibility and the importance of having their own supplies at their fingertips! Each one of my students has a unique learning style and different learning needs and these supplies will allow me to pull small groups for strategic and meaningful instruction based on their needs. My students LOVE to write independently, however at times they need to move their seat to move closer to the resources (such as a word wall, circle maps, information charts) around the room. Providing a clipboard for each student would allow for students to find a place around the room where they can focus and be productive!
