Enhancing Students' Engagement and Enjoyment in Reading!

Many people talk about helping others, but you have taken the steps to actually do so, and my class was lucky enough to be the recipients of your generosity. Providing these books for my classroom has allowed my students the opportunity to explore books in a different way. They are able to have individual copies and work through the books to enhance their understanding. "Poppy" by Avi is one of the first books that we read this year, and I am excited to report that I have many students who have already started reading other books in the series because of their interest in this book. Some are even students that might not have read the story due to their reading level, but because of the program and the way the book was presented they are excited and able to experience the book.
