The 2 packs of K'nex, 2 inexpensive Lego-type bricks, 2 rolling storage carts and 18 baseplates for building will be used daily with each grade level, Pre-K - 5th Grade in the school library. Building off of ideas from the books that we discuss, I will have a building project to accompany each lesson. Our students are excited and ready to learn using a hands-on approach with the K'nex and Lego-type beginner sets. The children will no only be introduced to the idea of makerspace, but to a team-building approach to structuring their ideas. This is the beginning of a long-awaited addition to our school library.
