Ready, Set, Play!
Funded Aug 15, 2023Thank you so so much for your generous donation! My UTK and Kindergarten students will truly benefit from these positive enhancements to their outdoor learning environment.
They will enjoy play based learning opportunities with animals and dramatic play! We hope to also increase their preliteracy skills and love for reading by bringing literature outside with a set of indistructable books!”

Funded Aug 9, 2022Thank you so much for providing my 4-6 year olds with a variety of engaging options to play with during recess and lunch!
These toys have truly given each child more options and opportunities to engage with their new friends in positive ways. As we re-enter the world with smiling faces and full size classes, children need extra support in achieving developmentally appropriate social skills. The positive play opportunities during recess and lunch have benefited the students greatly both outside and inside the classroom.
In addition to supporting our students, funding this project also kept our amazing supervision aide from spending her own money to enhance the recess and lunch experience for TK and Kinder!”

Funded Nov 28, 2018Thank you all for your generous donations! I never would have been able to afford SO MANY high quality games, puzzles and manipulatives! Year after year as I teach new groups of Kindergarteners, my students will now have the opportunity to learn math with hands-on dynamic activities.
Serving a majority of English Language Learners, it is important for my students to have the chance to collaborate and communicate with their peers using academic language. Working together to solve puzzles, play math games and use real objects to represent mathematical concepts has given my students the chance to enhance their mathematical thinking while developing Cognitive Academic English Language Proficiency.
Thank you again for your support and I hope that my students can always count on you in the future!”

Ready, Set, Play!
Funded Sep 28, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donations! The students at Para Los Niños Charter Elementary have truly enjoyed all of the new equipment. All of the differnt toys and games have given children the chance to explore different areas, play with different friends and find similar interests with new friends.
Since our yard space is limited it was difficult for us teachers to set up the space in a way that would accommodate to so many young students as our enrollment grew. Once we were able to envision all of the play opportunities we wanted our students to have, your funding really helped bring our vision to fruition. Now the students have more autonomy and positive play experiences during their free time.”

Funded Jul 21, 2017My students are truly grateful for the awesome whiteboards! In fact, when charting ideas of people and things we are grateful for, one student even mentioned our whiteboards! We use them every week to practice printing our focus letter as well as to draw pictures of words beginning with our focus letter. If you look closely in the photos, you can see examples of both being done. The white boards are an incredible way to engage the entire class while allowing slow writers to take their time and fast learners to come up with sooo many things to draw with the focus letter. Although writing is our main use for the whiteboards, we have also used the boards during math to practice writing numbers and drawing shapes. I couldn't be more in love with the whiteboards and how helpful they are in the classroom!
Thank you so much for your support! My very deserving students benefit so much from the materials your contribution helped bring to life!”
