  • Football? Kickball? Parachute? Let's Play!

    My students are extremely active! When they saw that we had gotten all of the recess equipment, I could not keep them calmed down. We had to go out and play with all of it right away. This equipment has allowed them to work on their sportsmanship and to create games together.

    They love to play with the parachute because it is not something they get to do during their PE time. They enjoy getting it out and playing boys versus girls to see who can keep the balls on the parachute for the longest time.

    They have thoroughly enjoyed going outside and just making up games with the soccer balls. They also love playing kickball as a class. This equipment has truly been a great asset to my classroom. Students get so fidgety and just need time get out of the classroom. This gives them that opportunity. Thank you!”

  • Magazines, Research, Internet!! Oh My!! Yellow Brick Road of Success!

    Thank you for the Time Magazines and the Scholastic News Magazines. These are truly helping my students to read and practice their comprehension skills. The Time Magazines are encouraging informative material about today in time. My students are reading them during small group instruction, partner work, and individual assignments. They are enjoying them so much because they are on their reading level. These magazines are allowing the students to open up to new interests. Some didn't even enjoy reading factual, or non fiction material. Now, they love it because it is written with the student's interest in the articles.

    My students get so excited and eager when they see me pull out these magazines. They know they are about to have some exciting reads, and work on a project for the class.
