• A Vacuum to Help Keep Our Classroom Clean!

  Thank you for this very generous donation to our classroom!

  We recently received 2 brand new rugs (also thanks to your generosity), and having this vacuum to keep our rugs clean is just so amazing!

  When it arrived, my students were so excited, they wanted to use it right away!

  I explained it had to charge first, and

  that this vacuum is very expensive, and it cannot be used as a toy. and that we have to take care of it so it can last for years to come!

  Since we use our rugs everyday for lessons the rugs do get dirty so now i have the ability to keep our rugs clean and looking like new!

  Thank you again for being so very generous and giving my class this amazing gift!

• Clean Colorful Carpets!

  Thank you, Thank You, Thank You for funding our project!!!!

  We were so excited to receive our new materials!!!

  We now have 2 brand new classroom carpets to work on for whole class learning and for our small groups, and 2 brand new polka dot bins to help us stay organized!

  It was so exciting for us to receive these "gifts" to help keep our learning fun and exciting!

  We discussed "generosity and gratitude."

  One of our students said "The people that bought these things for us don't even know us, why would they buy these things for us"?

  I explained some people are generous even to people they don't know, sometimes if people have a little extra money they want to help other people because it makes them happy to share and help us."

  Our class decided it's like we made a wish and it came true!

  Thank you for making our wish come true!

• Ready to Read!

  Thank you for your very generous donation to our class!!! My students were so excited when the books arrived.

  When I started the project I asked each of my reading groups to choose some chapter books they were interested in, so that is how we selected the books for our donors choose project. Having a discussion about which books my students were interested in reading has helped to create excitement about reading time!

  They were so excited when the carton arrived

  and now can't wait each day for reading group time! Thank you again for helping me give my students books they personally selected, and helping me spark their interest to read! Your donation has made reading group time full of fun!”

• Rolling Learning Cart!

  Thank you for helping me and my students!

  We were so excited to receive our new easel and fresh set of markers and chart paper!

  Our old easel had a broken wheel which made it difficult to roll around the room, and after writing on it, it did not wipe clean. To have the new white board /easel has made our day to day learning so much easier! Because of covid it was delayed, but it was worth the wait!

  When the students came in and saw it, they were so excited! They love that I can roll it closer to them so they can see what is on the board much easier, they love that the new chart paper is like a big post-it and I can stick it anywhere in the classroom, and they especially love the variety of vibrant colors of our new markers!

• Amplify Science Student Workbooks!

  Your very generous donation has made such a difference to my students learning!

  My students do not have to share 1 book amongst 4 people! Having the additional science books has transformed my students learning!

  The books could not have come at a better time!

  Due to Covid 19 restrictions and social distancing, the order was considerably delayed, but when we finally received it, we were thrilled!

  My students were also able to get their own copy of the student workbook which they were so happy to have!

• Traveling Science Classroom

  Thank you so much for this very generous donation!

  This "Traveling Science Cart," is reaching all my

  2nd and 3rd grade science students! With this cart I

  am able to bring all materials needed to teach science in the classroom.

  As I push into 12 different classrooms to teach science, I can

  now easily bring,; lab materials, art supplies, vocabulary

  word walls, charts, books and all science related curriculum with me!

  This cart also has a white board, which is so helpful to engage my students as

  soon as I walk in their classroom. My students are participating in instruction, as soon as I enter,

  because they can read whatever I have posted on the white board, and promptly begin!

  Due to the shortage of classroom space, we no longer have a designated science

  classroom, so this "Traveling Science Cart," gives my students the next best

  thing! Allowing my students access to all materials needed for an engaging

  organized science lesson.

• Creative Kids Need Art Supplies!

  Thank you so much for your donation! I am so grateful

  for your generosity! My students were so happy when

  they received the new art supplies. Their faces lit up when they used the new crayons, markers, glue, and colored pencils.

  One student commented, " I love crayons with sharp points, it's

  so much easier to color in the lines." These art supplies will be well

  used, as they are available to all 2nd and 3rd grade science students.

  My students are so appreciative and deserving, thank you for

  giving them these new supplies!
