School has always been about sitting in small chairs upright at desks or tables with little to no movement at all. These are the ideas of the past. Educationalist ideas presently invite educators to teach in the direction that students lead us. I am aiming to tap into what makes my students "TICK!"
We want to move and learn, sing, giggle, share and have choices in what we do. I choose to encourage music, movement, centers and play! I want students to think and BELIEVE that K12 is OUR classroom...a place where they can believe that their ideas and themselves are important and needed for our Home Away From Home to function.
